Yuri Lowenthal voices Mercury Black in RWBY, taking over the role from J.J. Castillo from Volume 3 and onwards.[1] He is married to Tara Platt, who voices Kali Belladonna.
Yuri Lowenthal is a famous voice actor that has provided voices for many other animated productions, notably as Ben Tennyson from Ben 10, Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto, Simon the Digger from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Spider-Man from Spider-Man PS4 and Suzaku Kururugi from Code Geass. He also plays Neil in Camp Camp, another Rooster Teeth animated show.
