On January 24th, 2023, Geoff Yetter announced that, despite not being greenlit yet, planning for Volume 10 had already begun. He stated that an overview for the volume has already been completed, with writing to begin soon after.[2] On July 7th, 2023, Kerry Shawcross confirmed that writing was underway for Volume 10, even without a greenlight for the volume.[3]
On April 22nd 2023, Kerry Shawcross revealed from his Twitter account that Volume 10's release to the public was teased when he mentioned the Crunchyroll official twitter account, stating they'd love to talk.[4]
On July 5th 2025, following a long hiatus due to Rooster Teeth's shutdown, Kerry would confirm Volume 10 to be "super deep in" pre-production via a video uploaded to the show's official YouTube channel.[5]
