Trivia
- Vic was first approached by Michael and Lindsay Jones while they were all attending Supanova in Australia. The couple explained they were fans of his work before telling him about RWBY and showing him some images from the show on Michael's iPad. He was so impressed by what he saw that he immediately agreed to voice Qrow when he received a follow-up email a couple of weeks later.[2][3]
- Qrow Branwen was the first character Vic auditioned for before he got the role.[4]
- He recorded his lines for Volume 3 and 4 in his home studio off of a script with little or no direction and sent multiple versions in for Rooster Teeth to choose from. He finally recorded his lines at Rooster Teeth when it was time to record his lines for Volume 5.
- Volume 3 of RWBY was already on the air before Vic even knew what Qrow looked like.
- In late July of 2013, Vic Mignogna and Monty Oum both traveled to Guam during the same week. On July 27, 2013, Kerry Shawcross made a Tweet saying Vic Mignogna "jumped on" a livestream Monty was holding.[5] Within an hour of Kerry's Tweet, Monty made a Tweet tagging Vic with a greeting, which seemed to confirm Kerry's statement.[6]
