We wanted to reach out to you today with some exciting news. First off, thank you for being a valued member of the Rooster Teeth community! If you weren’t already aware, we have a community site that has existed on our platform as long as we’ve been around. It’s a place for community members to meet one another, share their love for a similar interest, post ridiculous things, and become familiar with staff, content, and other community members.
Now onto the news! On September 26, 2019, we will open up an all-new community site beta to everyone!
This move is a healthy and positive step forward in bringing the community together and continuing to update and improve our platform. Our focus with the new site is to become an even better home for all of you. The legacy community site will remain open and available for you to archive all of your own content with an archiver tool created by one of our own community admins. The legacy site will close on October 3, 2019.
Sooo they're trying to encourage people to use their community stuff, and as such, they want to open a new and improved version.
... well, new and hopefully improved. We'll see how that goes. They "improved" their website, yet people still have hella problems with it, and trying to find a show on there is ridiculous. Alphabetical sorting isn't even actually alphabetical.
not to mention series aren't numerical... had a tier that was pretty much "anything that says rwby V6..." and it lacked the next episode 3 weeks after that episode was out, had to back out to the previous ep, skip to the next one, then continue from there to the last ep out at the time.
A+ website. Why is it so rare for any website whatsoever to have good design and actually function properly? It's one thing for it to be something like Rooster Teeth's website or a social media platform, but it's a whole different and incredibly obnoxious beast when it's a website or webpage where you're supposed to be able to apply for a job. We've had the internet for how long now?
