Okay, this is the first thing related to the whole debacle that I actually want to comment on, and I am limiting this to the matter of the casting choice and absolutely nothing else.
I've heard Jason Liebrecht in a couple of productions (Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa, One Piece, Dragon Ball Super), and I recall him being present in the first season of Day 5 too. Just going off of what I've gotten out of those, I have no doubts that he'll do right by Qrow's character, and I'm really looking forward to hearing him in the role. Plus, seeing his enthusiasm over it on his Twitter account is honestly really nice.
Yeah, it won't be the same as before, and it might take some time to adjust to, but hey, unless you've got someone doing an imitation as good as, say, Dominic Catrambone temporarily filling in for Jason Biggs in the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon, that's bound to happen with any recasted role regardless of whether or not one is better or worse than the other (even the example I mentioned was hard to adjust to when Seth Green became Leonardo's new permanent voice). As long as his performance is good and Qrow is still Qrow, I'll take it.
Eh, The action compared to his debut or even last season in general has been lackluster. Plus Qrow in general has really done much. Something tells me if audio time was calculated this season, Qrow's near the bottom of the list.
Plus, character-wise sober qrow is boring. It would make more sense if he stopped once the whole conflict w/ Salem was over.
