The Lost Fable
Here, then, in all its terrible, awful and unimaginable beauty, is The Truth.
Well, I owe Oz an apology for suggesting that this was all his fault. The fault, if you wish to call it that, was in the Brothers, for creating a being able to love and then trying to justify taking that love away for no other reason than some nebulous claptrap about 'balance'. Thus they guaranteed that, eventually, a Dark Lord or Lady would arise who, in their attempt to rid humanity of that curse, would twist herself into an eternal nightmare.
However, The Truth is not always entirely without caveat and The Wizard's curse is not a warning of a hopeless existence for the people of Remnant. The Wizard, Ozman, Ozpin, Oscar... cannot destroy Salem. Because, in the end, he loves her and he would never be able to bring himself to strike that last blow. No, it lies in others to do what he cannot, or so I suspect. FOUR others, specifically: The Daughters of The Wizard and the Witch. Perhaps in the unification of the Powers of the Maidens to one purpose in friendship and love, the reincarnations of their purity and love.
I believe that these four cursed and fated children who are destined to finally send their mother and father away together in peace... are Team RWBY.
