  • Just gonna be saying that Tukson and Ghira, Blake's dad, looks a bit alike from the hair color and being a cat faunus.... Just saying....

    • Well, I mean, by that logic Taiyang and Jaune are related too because they're both humans with blonde hair and blue eyes. Just saying.

    • ^it isn't bad logic though... we still don't know exactly why he was targeted, nor a "when" Tukson left the WF.  I don't suspect he was part of the Belladona "house", but a distant cousin/former underling probably... the problem is right now it changes nothing and has no evidence.

    • He was targeted for deserting and wanting to go to Vacuo. There doesn't have to be more logic than that, especially since he deserted after Blake left and well into Adam's downward spiral - they probably started treating all deserters overharshly afterwards.

They probably wanted Roman to deal with it because he knew locations of White Fang meeting points, and Roman was working pretty closely with the White Fang in Mountian Glen, which means Tukson likely new of the large amounts of Dust being gathered in Mountain Glen. It was an information control move - stop him from running away before he can tell anyone of the large movement involving a shit ton of Dust.

But do you think he was just a mook who went to the recruitment drive, or something higher?  the personal attention appears to indicate "higher", but we have no idea how much higher it was, keep in mind that Merc and Em think highly of themselves and wasted time on this ONE guy to curry Cinder's favor, that doesn't indicate a full burn of failed recruits, but a lost member of rank someone was reluctant to pursue.

    • This is about as "out there" as speculation goes. For a supposed family member, Blake doesn't seem to bothered by his death.

I never said he was a bum mook. Just that he can be a part of the White Fang and a decently ranked individual without having to be related to the Belladonna's. You don't have to have special relations to climb ranks.

And considering his murder happened in Vale while Blake was there, and she was watching/tracking the news, you'd think she would have found out about it and made mention of it at some point. They would have at least had a scene where she's upset and when the others ask why she can just say 'my cousin/uncle/big brother/whatever was found murdered in his bookstore the other day."
