You'd think Remnant would have the technology to make copies of those things considering a simple camera is apparently capable of using a 2D image to make a functional copy of a weapon with ranged functions, apparently without the weapon firing or transforming in the picture
You know...only Penny's weapons actually transformed. Which, she could have gotten two pictures of them from the tournaments. Every other weapon stayed in the form she summoned it in.
Nope, Crescent Rose transformed and she did that slow mo shot from the Red Trailer.
Did it transform? I don't remember that. I remember Crescent Rose forming already in scythe mode, and then she did the move from the Red Trailer, slashed the Paladin, and switched to another weapon.
I think Gambol Shroud's katana stayed in katana form, despite Velvet using the ribbon part.
Velvet's weapon being OP makes no sense. How is it that about 16 students with various weapons working together cant scratch the paladins, but Velvet by herself who is using the exact same weapons can tear them apart like wrapping paper.
Maybe it's because of whatever material Velvet's copies of their weapons are made of. Unfortunately for her, that material doesn't last long, which makes it impractical for everyone to walk around using weapons like that.
Too bad her weapon wasnt built up or properly explained and at the end of the day it's just copy and pasted fight choreography.
But for what it is (and she did do some original moves) I feel it was done well.
