Cats are still Cats when their claws retract. Tukson always had claws, he just didn't like keeping them out, apparently.

Yeah, 20-20 hindsight says it was not as good of an idea as I thought it was.

The idea isn't totally crazy, although one would have to concede that Qrow would either have to have to be at least half faunus also, considering they are blood siblings, not half. It's fairly obvious now that the crows/ravens we've been seeing this whole time are either of them, but for whatever reason, one of them was in the Black trailer. Why would that be? Well considering that Raven also wears a Grimm mask, maybe she was affiliated with them somehow. At the very least I think whoever was there wasn't there for Blake, they were there for the White Fang.

Faunus, especially their history and years of prejudice and racism, reminds me of the Fishman from One Piece, if you watched or read the series, anime or manga, respectively. You can see some similarities between the species characters.
