"Team RWBY vs. Negative Blake" is a fight that occurred in "Light in Shadows" of RWBY: Ice Queendom, where Team RWBY fight against Negative Blake and the Nightmare controlling her to complete their mission of saving Weiss.
Preceding Events[]
Following Ruby's fight against her Nightmare, Weiss was freed from its control and takes control of Negative Weiss, while Ruby is transported to her. Negative Blake, still intent on fighting Weiss, challenges Ruby and Yang for defending her. Yang insists that Shion will be able to free her, but in the real world, Shion is worried that the Nightmare has dug too deep into Blake's heart.
The Fight[]
Weiss and Ruby take out the two White Fang Goons defending Negative Blake, and Yang charges up to her, attempting to fight her. Yang gets a good hit on her, and her mask cracks, with the real Blake seeing through. Blake, using one of Shion's coins, manages to partially pull herself out of her negative self, and Yang pulls her out. The Nightmare reveals itself, still in control of Negative Blake, and Ruby affirms that she knows how to beat it.
Negative Blake goes on the offensive, attacking Yang and Blake. It manages to hit Yang away, while Blake knocks it back. Weiss uses this opportunity to hit it with a Dust beam, then uses her Glyphs to freeze its entire body apart from the head. Yang rockets forward and punches it, knocking it high into the air. Ruby transforms her dream Crescent Rose into its snowboard form, and with Weiss' assistance, gets knocked into the air. Nega-Blake attacks the wall of the dreamscape, knocking down a boulder, and Ruby cuts through it, reaching Nega-Blake and hits it, knocking it back to the ground. Nega-Blake, trying to get back up, gets impaled by Gambol Shroud, defeating it. Yang comments how Blake didn't need to be the one to finish off herself, while Blake asserts that it isn't her, but her past self.
With Negative Blake defeated, the Nightmare attacks Team RWBY with its vines, and they deflect each blow. They each jump up to reach the Nightmare, and each of them use their own set of moves to attack the Nightmare at once. The Nightmare's vines are cut clean off, and the original White Fang flag shows itself, the true soul of Blake. Team RWBY takes this opportunity to reveal the real Nightmare within their shadows, and each unleash a barrage of ranged attacks on it with their Weapons. The Nightmare, defeated, flies up into the sky and escapes out of Blake.
Aftermath[]
Back in the real world, the Nightmare flies out of Blake's body, and Shion quickly captures it and stores it in their jar. With both Nightmares defeated, Team RWBY are finally in the clear, and just in time, as Shion notes that their Aura is almost depleted.
