The Tea Room[1] was a mansion created by Neopolitan in the Abandoned Acre by her powered-up Overactive Imagination.
Upon luring Ruby Rose into the mansion, Neo tortured her using clones of people she knew, breaking her spirit and causing her to ascend.
After the Curious Cat possesses her body, the mansion collapsed, no longer being supported by her Semblance.
History[]
In the Ever After, Neo uses her Semblance to construct a building appearing to be a mansion. This building is only shown to have a large ballroom, and prominently features paintings reflecting important moments in Neo's life, including her parents, her falling in with Roman Torchwick, and her eventual partnership with Cinder. Neo uses the building both as a safe-house and main base of operations whilst plotting her revenge against Ruby Rose for Roman's death.
When Ruby arrives alone at the tea room, Neo torments her using illusions of Roman, Pyrrha Nikos, Penny Polendina, Leonardo Lionheart, Clover Ebi, Ozpin, James Ironwood and Oscar Pine. The Curious Cat intervenes in the conflict, damaging parts of the structure in the process before Neo can regain control of the situation. Neo succeeds in convincing Ruby to Ascend after 'killing' Little, with the rest of Team RWBY and Jaune Arc arriving too late to stop this.
Neo's supposed victory left her feeling empty, however, as she never thought of what to do after getting rid of Ruby, which leaves her vulnerable to being possessed by the Curious Cat. Parts of the mansion are seen crumbling as the structure begins to disappear before everyone leaves the estate to make their way to the Great Tree.
Trivia[]
- When a part of the tea room is destroyed, it shatters into pink glass fragments like other things created by Neo's Semblance.
- In addition, when a part of the room is hit, it creates pink-colored sparks.
