Thorn[1] was Vine Zeki's weapon of choice. It was a collapsible throwing star. It was first seen in "Ace Operatives". It was destroyed in "The Final Word" when Vine enclosed himself and the bomb originally meant for Monstra to protect Mantle.

Thorn was a gray circular weapon that unfolded into a three-bladed throwing star. When folded, the circular base was surrounded by rounded triangular blades. When unfolded, the blades around the circular base extended and turned into hook like blades. It had what appears to be Gravity Dust in the center of the weapon.
Vine always carried Thorn folded on his back and rarely used it, preferring to use his Semblance for fighting.
The weapon could be thrown or used as a dagger.
History[]
Vine always carried Thorn on his back until his death. He only used Thorn offensively in "Strings" when the Ace Operatives fought Penny Polendina.
Thorn was later destroyed when Vine sacrificed his life to stop a bomb from destroying Mantle.
