Ruby Rose[]
Little sleeping in Ruby’s cloak
Somewhat first met Ruby when they were still a small mouse, and they were curious about her until they got bored when she gets stuck in a loop. They also thank Ruby for pulling out the cheese from the ground. Due to their small size, Ruby dubbed the mouse "Little", which they didn't mind being called. They would often sleep in Ruby’s cloak for comfort.
In "Altercation at the Auspicious Auction", Little helps Ruby to steal Penny's Maiden sword, which was disguised as a jade marionette by Jinxy's powers.
In "The Parfait Predicament", when the Blacksmith asks if they are Ruby’s guide, they replies positively and call Ruby their friend. They are willing to help her and her friends to get back home even though they have no idea where home is.
Little becomes worried for Ruby’s broken mental state
In "The Perils of Paper Houses", Little was the first one to notice something off with Ruby. After her breakdown, Little felt sad and became worried for her as she took her anger out on her friends, and was seemingly dragged along by her by accident when she runs off and abandons her team.
Little’s attempts to save Ruby
In "Tea Amidst Terrible Trouble", Little’s friendship with Ruby has becomes strained when Little tries to convince Ruby to return to her friends, but instead, she told them leave. When Little refuses to listen, Ruby ends up yelling at them and walks off, to which Little reacted with horror and sadness. Despite that, Little secretly followed Ruby and watched in horror as she was badly beaten and mentally tortured by illusions of the people she failed to save conjured by Neopolitan. Little finally intervened when the Curious Cat tried to take her body for themselves, which was the first and only time Little saved Ruby. Little’s last words was telling Ruby to get up and they need to go until Neo killed them by stepping on them. They end up ascending along with Ruby after she drinks Neo's tainted tea.
Somewhat and Ruby’s first meeting and final goodbye
In "Of Solitude and Self", Little ascends and becomes a much larger mouse that wears a cape and boots. Due to the nature of ascension, Little does not remember Ruby, though they do tell her she feels familiar, like a "happy dream [they] can't remember." After being asked what they are, Little's name becomes "Somewhat"; they are "somewhat" of a lot of things Ruby and her team tell them. The two then exchange a warm hug and a tearful goodbye as Ruby returns to Remnant.
Weiss Schnee[]
Little cheers for Weiss for defeating one of the Red Prince's chess pawns. After the Curious Cat helped Ruby and her friends, they lean towards Weiss' shoulder while sleeping.
Blake Belladonna[]
At first, Little was afraid of Blake due to being a cat, when they saw her for the first time, Little is not scared of her anymore because thought she was a cat. They casually crawl onto Blake’s shoulder. In "Rude, Red, and Royal", after the Red Prince threw a tantrum, Little saves Blake from falling in the last minute.
In "Confessions Within Cumulonimbus Clouds", they were surprised to see Blake and Yang kiss after they woke up from their nap.
Yang Xiao Long[]
Not much interaction between them, but Little was willing to hide behind Yang when the Curious Cat smelled their scent.

Jabberwalker[]
When Little first sees the Jabberwalker, they are frightened of them due to their intimidating appearance. It is unknown if Little knows who the Jabberwalker is, as there is not much interaction between the two.
In “The Parfait Predicament”, it turns out to be common fear for all residents to be scared of the Jabberwalker, who has the ability to stop their reincarnation by devouring them.
Jinxy Peddler[]
Little is the one to direct Team RWBY in Jinxy's direction, showing that they and their tribe are familiar with him. They inform the group that he routinely visits their village to take items to auction. Little does not mind that Jinxy essentially steals things from their village behind their backs.
Curious Cat[]
At first they didn’t react when they meet the Curious Cat, but when Yang tells Ruby to go after the cat, they freak out. In “A Cat Most Curious”, they mainly hide from the Curious Cat either in Ruby’s cloak or behind Yang as they don’t want to get eaten by a cat.
In "Tea Amidst Terrible Trouble", they decide to put their fears aside and stop the Curious Cat by biting their tail, realizing they aren’t a friend, until they flinch off Little.
In "The Adventures of Somewhat", Somewhat seems to have taken on the Curious Cat's former role, as they were tasked by the Blacksmith with finding "what feels wrong" in the Ever After, which they do by helping the other Afterans with their problems.
Juniper[]
Somewhat was in awe of Jaune's steed, and before leaving, Jaune would ask Somewhat if they could take care of Juniper for them, as she meant the world to him. Somewhat would honorably agree to Jaune's request, and gleefully get atop Juniper as they became her new partner, riding off happily.
Red Prince[]
They did not have much interaction with the Red Prince as Little, but in "The Adventures of Somewhat" they returned to the Crimson Castle following their Ascension at the request of the Herbalist. Finding the place empty, they encountered the Prince in a depression, who stated they sent everyone away. He then looked up, and finding Somewhat familiar, invited him to play a game. As the two play, Somewhat helps the Red Prince see a new way to fulfill his purpose, not just by winning games, but by teaching others to win as well. After beating the Prince, he appeared shocked, before smiling and thanking them for playing with him, waving him off as they departed the castle.
