Sanus[1] is the continent on which the Kingdom of Vacuo (western end) is located.
The former Kingdom of Vale (eastern end) was located on it as well, but was destroyed by Salem in the "Volume 9 Bonus Ending Animatic".
Geography[]
The continent has a range of climates that range from verdant forests and mountains in Vale to barren deserts in Vacuo. The island of Vytal is located just to the north of the eastern end of Sanus.
East[]
The eastern part of the continent was the location of the former Kingdom of Vale. The Kingdom was surrounded by mountains that protect the settlement from Grimm. The area also had a wide range of forests, including Forever Fall and the Emerald Forest.
West[]
The western part of the continent is the location of the Kingdom of Vacuo. The area is mostly comprised of deserts with Vacuo built on an oasis. These deserts are known for shifting overnight, making it easy to get lost in.
