Sanus[1] is the continent on which the Kingdoms of Vale (eastern end) and Vacuo (western end) are located. Within Vale are several settlements including the main city of Vale, the island of Patch as well as several coastal cities.
The continent has a range of climates that range from verdant forests and mountains in Vale to barren deserts in Vacuo. The island of Vytal is located just to the north of the eastern end of Sanus.
East
The eastern part of the continent is the location of the Kingdom of Vale. The kingdom is surrounded by mountains that protect the settlement from Grimm. The area also has a wide range of forests, including Forever Fall and the Emerald Forest.
West
The western part of the continent is the location of the Kingdom of Vacuo. The area is mostly comprised of deserts with Vacuo built on an oasis. These deserts are known for shifting overnight, making it easy to get lost in.

- Sanus is a Latin word for "healthy" or "sane".
