Ruby, Yang, and Superman vs. Grimm is a battle that occurred in the simulation of Emerald Forest. It was depicted in Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes and Huntsmen, Part One. It was not portrayed or referenced in the main series and was originally to crossover film.
Preceding Events[]
Superman woke up in the simulation of Emerald Forest where he witness Ruby and Yang fighting some strange creatures. Upon asking, Yang informs him they're Grimm. He tries and fails to fly or use any of his other powers (later learning he can't uses it in shade areas). Ruby and Yang notice something off with Griffons, as they can suddenly absorb all the Dust thrown at them and shoot lasers out of their mouths.
The Fight[]
Superman tries again to assist Ruby and Yang in the fight with the abnormal Griffons. Suddenly, he has a brief flash of memories, something from his original world before transport to Remnant. When he comes back his sense and sees Ruby and Yang being surround by Griffons. He save them by shooting lasers at the abnormal griffons.
Aftermath[]
After the remaining Griffons fled, Ruby and Yang decide to take Superman to Beacon Academy to ask Ozpin for some answers.

- Despite not recalling the Fall of Beacon, the sisters both remember that Ozpin tends to know what's up when 'weird things happen'. A fact they didn't learn until months after the fact.
- Yang still has her prosthetic arm, its highly notable, as its the only deviation in any of RWBY-JNPR's old character designs.
