Vytal Festival Tournament[]
Before the Vytal Festival began, Roy was among the Huntsmen-in-training approached by Human Nextwork to model for their Scroll game. After an incident while messing with Roy's Saws in their Development Labs, an intern had lost the top of their hands and accidentally decapitated two Atlesian Knight-200s while Roy Stallion worked in the modeling room. The intern had their pay removed by Winter Schnee following this.[1]
Along with his team, Roy was a student of Shade Academy, from the kingdom of Vacuo. He and his team journeyed to participate in the 40th Vytal Festival combat tournament, hosted by the kingdom of Vale. His team was defeated by Team JNPR of Vale's Beacon Academy in the team round of the tournament.
He was later seen at the bar near Weiss and Blake while Cinder broadcasts her message.

Roy was later seen being carried off by a Nevermore and was killed by it at some point during the encounter. His teammates Brawnz Ni and May Zedong dying in the process of trying to save him.
