Reese exhibits a playful and youthful nature, being headstrong and eager to help others in battle. However, she is also stated to be an extremely poor leader by Coco Adel, being too considerate of her teammates' thoughts and concerns for every decision to made. Coco described her as acting like a "12-year old hanging out at the mall".
Despite this, Reese is also one of the more courageous Huntsmen, being one of the first to defend Shade Academy from The Crown. She was also partially affected by the Battle of Beacon, looking away when it is mentioned by Xanthe Rumpole.
Reese appears as a young girl with light green hair swept to her right, with teal eyes and fair complexion. She also wears two black facial markings on her cheeks.
Reese's attire reflects a skater motif. She wears a dark purple hooded sweater over a mauve sweater. She also wears black shorts as well as knee pads and elbow pads on her arms and legs. She wears black shoelaced high top sneakers.
Powers and AbilitiesEdit
Reese's weapon is a bladed hoverboard capable of transforming into twin pistols. She is able to ride on the hoverboard to swiftly navigate battlefields, whilst also fluidly switching to using it as a shield and melee weapon. For ranged attacks, she can throw her hoverboard in addition to using its twin pistol form. Her hoverboard can also incorporate fire Dust, allowing her to create fiery blasts and generate heat, or ice Dust allowing her to freeze enemies.
She is shown to be quite adept at hand-to-hand combat, parrying and matching Blake's attacks aggressively. However, she also embarrassingly fails to make an acrobatic jump, instead falling squarely on her tailbone. Given that she had been fighting on her hoverboard until that point, she potentially forgot to account for how she was landing on slippery ice. She was also easily deceived by Blake's clones, despite the fact that Blake had previously created several against her, which may indicate a lack of foresight, situational awareness or just plain gullibility.
She is described by Scarlet David as individually being a strong fighter, but a poor leader.
Reese and her team are students at Haven Academy, from the kingdom of Mistral. Her team journeyed to participate in the 40th Vytal Festival combat tournament, hosted by the kingdom of Vale, but were defeated by Team RWBY in the team round of the tournament.
Reese and the other students defend Beacon Academy during the invasion by the Grimm and the White Fang. In RWBY: After the Fall, Velvet Scarlatina states Reese and her team was observed defeating a Death Stalker at the Fall of Beacon. Reese posed for a picture, allowing for her fellow Huntress-in-training to obtain a Hardlight Dust copy of her hoverboard.
Team ABRN had gone back to Haven Academy after the Battle of Beacon with Neptune Vasilias, Scarlet David, and Sage Ayana, where they watched their school nearly fall to the White Fang’s attack. Like SSSN, they were one of the teams who had decided to continue their training in Shade rather than losing another semester. ABRN had beaten them to Vacuo by a few weeks, as Sun Wukong had insisted on taking SSSN through the scenic route.
In RWBY: Before the Dawn, Reese and Bolin attend an 8am History class taught by Rumpole with Team CFVY, visibly uncomfortable at talks of the Fall of Beacon. She is also present for the Beacon Brigade's meetings alongside her team.
Reese participates in the Shade re-initiation, being drafted as the leader of Team ROSC. As the team is sent to a mission to defend the perimeter in the Vacuo Wastelands, Reese shows to unintentionally be a poor leader to her team. When Coco is attacked by Carmine Esclados, the team rushes to her aid and attacks the rogue Huntress. As they fight, Reese and the others are attacked by a pair of Death Stalkers, and are swarmed by other Grimm, allowing Carmine a chance to escape.
During this, Reese's Aura is broken and the team is forced to make a retreat into a nearby Dust refinery. They are saved by a rescue team consisting of Fox Alistair, Sage Ayana, Octavia Ember, and Nolan Porfirio. The group finds and explore's the Crown Bunker, but makes a retreat once they see the Crown's army being led by Gillian Asturias.
Reese later participates in the Battle of Shade, and is amongst the first to come to its aid along with the rest of the Beacon Brigade and later celebrates their victory with the group.

- Chloris is derived from the Greek word χλωρός (chloros) meaning "green", especially in relation to youth and vigor. Chloris, in Greek mythology, was a nymph associated with spring, flowers, and new growth.
