"Pykes Tykes!" is the twenty second episode of RWBY: The Grimm Campaign and the thirteenth episode of Season 2. It premiered on the Rooster Teeth website on May 18th, 2021, for First members.
Summary[]
Team SAFR are sneaking into the Wave's hanger in order to steal their various magic artifacts. They see that the artifacts are being loaded onto a massive Atlesian Frater. They split into three groups in order to get inside. Fenix has snuck in by disguising himself as a Tacco delivery man, Pyke sneaks in through an old abandoned access tunnel along with several teenage members of the underground resistance. Arrastra and Asher have teamed up with Abigail Pyre and are scaling down the large cliff above Kuchinashi to get into the airship port.
Asher and Arrastra use their weapons, Fortune's Fangs and Windlass, in order to scale down the side of the cliff at a very slow pace, with Abigail and several member of the hearth in tow. They hear the noises of Grimm and realize they must start moving much quicker. Pyke and his army of teenagers are breaking through a large wall in the hanger. He speaks with Grayden since he has been in the area before, who helps guide him through. Pyke uses an unnamed magic artifact to slip through a small hole in the wall. Fenix encounters Daff, who are both shocked to see each other. He has joined the Wave after the rest of the city guard was killed. Fenix convinces Daff to help him by telling him they are going to take down the Wave. Daff tells him about the inner workings of the ship, saying that the artifacts are being stored on a very deep and secretive area of the ship. The exception to this is the Magic Necklace, which Lemon is wearing. He says there is a security checkpoint on the ship that he cannot access. He also informs him that Team SMMK is in the area and to watch out for them. Daff agrees to help by scouting the area for Fenix so that he can sneak around.
Asher decides to freefall his way down the cliff, with Arrastra holding onto his back. The two of them use their weapons to grapple onto the side of the cliff once they get far enough down. A group of Grimm being controlled by Lemon fly down from above them. Several of them attack, but Arrastra used Equilibrium to blast them away. Meanwhile, Pyke radios Grayden and tells him to wait for his signal before attacking. Pyke then gets into a large piece of construction equipment, which happens to be a large drill. Pyke uses this the attacks several Grimm and destroy the nearby wall. With the wall gone, the group of teenagers run in and attack the Grimm, including Taupe. Pyke then drives the large drill into the wall causing a large explosion. While this is happening, Fenix is sneaking through the Wave's ship, being guided by Daff. He then overhears Sil from Team SMMK yelling orders at Wave members. Fenix manages to get by without Sil noticing him, and Daff tells him to make his way to a nearby forklift, on the way seeing another member of Team SMMK, Khaki. She spots him and it seems like he might be found out, but just at that moment the explosion caused by Pyke happens, causing the memeber of Team SMMK to run off. Fenix climbs up into the forklift and knocks out the wave member inside, he realizes the forklift has a turret on it.
Asher and Arrastra land on the top of the port. Abigail is attacked by a Lancer, but Arrastra uses Equilibrium to save her. Once inside, their comms reconnect with Fenix, and he is able to fill them in on what he has been doing. Asher then uses the Cloak of Displacement to sneak inside. Pyke also attempts to sneak around, managing to slip past the guards who become occupied fighting the Grimm from the abandoned hanger. Pyke tells the group of teenagers to shoot at the guards and Grimm to create a distraction, but to leave immediately if they feel they are in mortal danger.
Sil tells the ship that it needs to take off, as all the magic artifacts have been loaded and their are Grimm attacking. Fenix uses his turret to fire at Sil in an attempt to kill him. Sil is injured but managed to get away. Pyke sees this and runs into the ship, with Fenix also diving inside. Asher and Arrastra have managed to sneak their way onto the ship, with the entire team having reached the security checkpoint. Lemon's voice comes on a speaker above them, informing them that they are leaving Kuchinashi.
