The Origami Acre[1] is a location in the Ever After. It is the acre that contained the village of the Paper Pleasers, as well as a hut in which Jaune Arc formerly resided.

Description[]

The Origami Acre contains paper sheets as a material for the ground. These paper sheets come in multiple colors and are sturdy enough to hold up house structures and trees. The trees contained within the acre also contain paper leaves. There are numerous of these trees; creating a forest. The acre has paper found in abundance, along with wood on the previously mentioned trees.

After the village in the acre became flooded, the genial gems used their abilities to turn the water into a sculpture.

History[]

Before their departure from the Ever After, the Origami Acre was created by The Gods for the Afterans to inhabit based on their purpose.

Disasters[]

Due to the Rusted Knight's dilligence in keeping them from ascending, the Paper Pleasers began to partake in increasingly reckless actions, or became indifferent to natural hazards, with the intent of separating from their physical forms, resulting in an increasing number of events labelled 'Disasters' by the Knight, which he vowed to prevent in order to keep them "safe". Each of these were inserted into Jaune's personal schedule to follow every day.

These disasters included, but were not limited to:

  • Multiple fires caused by lighting a Morning Lantern followed by unknown second and third events.
  • Attempting to interact with the water spilled by the Rusted Knight to douse the above.
  • Toppling a pebble tower, setting off a chain reaction that would destroy the local dam, flooding the village.
  • A Cart crash in the East Marketplace.
  • Almost exploding a coffee maker.
  • A strong surge of wind.
  • The village coming under attack from bandits, The Tearable Two's, a goose, and giant crows, among other things.

One day, while being visited by Team RWBY, the village was attacked by multiple Jabberwalker clones created by Neo, a subsequent argument distracting Jaune and co. from the destruction of the dam, allowing a ginormous volume of water to flow through and flood the village, destroying it along with the bodies of the Paper Pleasers, consequently allowing them to ascend.
