Openings

RWBY has a different opening animation sequence and accompanying song for each Volume. Each Volume's first episode ends with the new sequence with it then serving as the opening for the Volume's subsequent episodes. It serves properly as the opening for the film-length Complete versions.

Trivia

• Many scenes in the openings foreshadow multiple future events, i.e. Volume 3's and the Battle of Beacon.
• Kerry Shawcross remarked that his goal with any RWBY intro is to have each episode reveal the meaning of some of its symbolism, such as the pink lightning for Nora Valkyrie or the pink lotus petal for Lie Ren in the Volume 8 Opening.
