Oh. Haha it's odd to get this message here on the wiki but I suppose if it's the way to go. I totally forgot (even as a smaller youtuber myself) that you would probably get an email about that comment. I deleted it since I wasn't sure after I sent it if I actually DID want to use video footage in the score videos or just one still image for each track.
Since then, I've decided ultimately that I want to just have a still image so that the focus is on the audio BUT I do want to say that even though I don't really want to use your footage, your work is still SO HELPFUL!
Going back to Volume 1's scores, I really had no idea what some of them even were. But watching your videos, it's the most efficient way to actually see what fits with what, which in turn makes it easier for me to separate tracks based on what events go with what scores. Since most of my new scores have moments from multiple episodes, it's so much easier to see which scenes start and stop where and then to cut them up and put them together where they now belong.
I'll probably leave a link to your channel in all of the video descriptions since you've done a lot of good work on leitmotif videos and Score Only videos, and hey people might be interested.
There are blu-rays. I hear that one of the episodes has a slightly longer scene or something too.
Someone who has one said that there's a lot of Warner Brothers promotional stuff on it and barely anything RT-related, which kinda sucks. If you're asking whether or not you should trust the blu-rays that are on amazon, I'd say so personally.
The extinction is the "reset button" that created the world, so yeah. It is the explanation for why the world exists as it does.
As for before that, I don't know. Honestly, I'd say yes because everything about Salem is important to the current day because it explains her motivations and her relationship to the gods. But I'd also say "only include things relating to Salem and Ozpin" because they are the actors that are important to the current timeline.
Well if it happened on Remnant, then it should go in the Remnant Timeline, no? Even if it's long before any notable civilization, let alone Kingdom, existed. It's still Remnant.
I should add that I'm not the authority on this. Thanks for coming to me, I suppose. It means a lot. But if an admin steps in (I'm a rollback, so I'm regarded as staff nonetheless), then it's their word over mine. So go ahead and make the edits you want to make, but if they change it up, it's understandable.
Maybe an easy fix for this is if we create a separate table for events that predate "Remnant." Like, all of the events of Salem interacting with Ozpin and the Gods, and then the extinction event is the official end of that timeline.
The Remnant Timeline would start with
"Salem wanders the world alone."
"New peoples appear, along with Faunus and Dust."
"The God of Light summons Ozma from the afterlife and tasks him with indefinite reincarnation until he unifies Humanity and unites the Relics."
"Soon, new peoples appear, along with Faunus who joined Humanity to fight the Creatures of Grimm for their survival, and Dust, which Mankind has discovered this new material and used its power to turn the tide against the Grimm."
Conceptually it's good, but I'd change it to "Soon, new peoples, and now Faunus, appear and fight the Creatures of Grimm. They discover Dust, an energy source they use to turn the tide in the constant battle."
This is partially for grammar and consistency. Like we always refer to people as Humanity, not mankind.
Yeah sorry. I know we're both changing it at the same time now and that's causing edit problems. The only edit I'm trying to make is changing the image of the Purple Ozma questioning Jinn to this. I don't know how much more work you plan on doing, so if I leave you to also do this, we don't have to worry about erasing each other's progress.

Step one: On your userpage, make a tabber (with the TabberOld template so it doesn't make an official wiki page)
Step two: name a tab in the tabber "Sandbox"
Step three: click on the tab, and it will direct you to create the page. It doesn't need to be named Sandbox. A sandbox page is just a page you make that isn't an official page, which you need the TabberOld template to do.
Right. I guess the url for my sandbox page is the same as yours but with my username. It's just that's how I went about making mine based on what I did in the past. And the tabber is a good way of organizing someone's user pages.
I would get those pictures if I had a 1080p device with a 16:9 aspect ratio... Basically, my computer is a 3:2 aspect ratio, so every screencap I take would need to be cropped. And that's a bit much work for me when someone else can just take a screencap and have the finished product.
And yeah. An inconsistency I added was from End of the Beginning. When Pyrrha was on her hands and knees and Cinder was walking to her, her hair was over one shoulder in one shot... and then immediately in the next shot it was over the other shoulder. So it warped to the other shoulder instantly between cuts. That would be an inconsistency, but since SSSN had 30 seconds between them, I wouldn't count it as such.
I'm sure Scarlet and Sage were only in the one overhead shot and weren't even in the 3D environment used for the second shot (in terms of like... when it was being made, their assets weren't in use when the second shot was being animated) but it's not inconsistent with itself, per se.
Ah, the music. I get it. And then the sigh thing. And here I was just talking about what constitutes spoiler edits over on the Nomad of Nowhere Wiki. My brain is pretty fried from some homework/research I'm doing. Sorry about that.
I know there are still things I get wrong here- the whole Deerhorn Knife vs. Wind and Fire Blade thing just to give a recent example- but I always love how collaborative this wiki is.
Everyone brings their own strengths, and I don't know how to make tabbers/templates, I didn't use the power of Google to narrow down what Vernal held and I certainly couldn't come up with words that accurately conveyed all the bells and whistles on that thing, so I'm glad there's people well versed in those things and who dissected screenshots. Meanwhile, I'm good with grammar and syntax.
I'm always searching for the find the right words, and more and more I try to preface the nuance I bring.
Ah. And something I just saw in the wiki's main tabber. HazelQuill isn't there anymore and I did a search and can't find their profile. Did something happen... or? Not related to being a rollback, but still.
Okay. I don't know what it's like to be an admin, but I imagine being here so much is quite a responsibility. Granted, I've been here daily since Volume 5 started, but that's because this time of year there's always something to add or refine.
I am a First Member, and I do watch new episodes first thing Saturday mornings, so I know what's spoilers and what's conjecture when edits are made before the proper Tuesday release.
I won't be reachable the next few days. Aside from intense school finals work, my campus Wi-Fi is acting up since I had to change my password. Finals are in a few days (trimester system is different from normal college schedules), so I'll be moving off campus on Tuesday. From there on, I should be active again. I probably won't be active at all this Tuesday when the wiki updates with Known by Its Song info.
