"Love Life" is the eighth RWBY Chibi skit of the animated anthology Neon Konbini and the seventy-second episode of RWBY Chibi. It premiered for Rooster Teeth FIRST members on July 1st, 2021, as the sixth segment of the episode "I Hate My Dad Simulator" and as its own episode on the Rooster Teeth Animation channel on March 11th, 2023. It is also included on the Volume 9 Bluray release on October 3rd, 2023.
Summary[]
Realizing she's not taken care of her social life, Cinder Fall tries her hand at speed-dating.
Transcript[]
In a space of pure whiteness, the giant blocky title and a certain rose emblem drop from the sky to the ground, where the four miniaturized members of Team RWBY pop out from behind it to smile, wave and adopt poses for the audience while an unseen speaker announces the show as: "RWBY CHIBI"!
Cinder Fall sits impatiently at a bar's table, with a sign which reads "Speed Dating" behind her.
Cinder: (sighs) I've focused so much on my career in evil that I totally forgot to have a personal life! I just hope dating doesn't turn out to be a complete waste of time.
Cut to Bartholomew Oobleck, who sits in front of her. He slams his hands on the table enthusiastically.
Oobleck: And that is the entire history of modern day irrigation! So, what's your name?
Cinder: You know... I don't think this is going to work.
Shortly after, cut to Peter Port, who sits at the table and eats a turkey's leg.
Port: You know... I don't think this is going to work.
Shortly after, in a noir visual style, Neptune Vasilias wears a fedora, and attempts to flirt with her.
Neptune: So... What's a hot tamale like you doing in a joint like this?
Without the noir lighting, Cinder rushes him away.
Cinder: Next!
Sometime later, Cinder appears interested in another suitor; Sun Wukong.
Cinder: Oh, I see, you certainly take care of yourself.
Sun: Yeah, you know, I do push-ups real good!
He jumps up in excitement as Cinder watches intently.
Sun: Oh! But check this out. I can fit a banana up my nose!
Cinder's smirk drops as a squishing sound is heard.
Cinder: You know, you're pretty when you don't talk.
Later, Cinder sits alone, downtrodden at having had no luck when Coco Adel walks past.
Coco: Hey there, gorgeous.
Cinder looks up in surprise, clearly flustered.
Cinder: Oh, wow! I've never... I mean- Sure, I'll give it a shot!
Coco walks straight past her, revealing Velvet Scarlatina, who waits for her teammate behind Cinder. Coco pinches Velvet's cheeks.
Coco: I just having dinner with my favorite bun-bun.
Embarrassed, Cinder covers her face. Some time later, however, Cinder is shown talking to another suitor, appearing extremely happy.
Cinder: I don't want to sound forward, but you... are... breathtaking!
She is staring at a mirror placed on the chair facing her. Klein Sieben appears.
Klein: My apologies, I was just in the middle of moving this.
Cinder places a finger on his mouth, shushing him without taking her eyes off her own reflection.
Cinder: Ssh, ssh, ssh. Leave it.

- Due to Ryan Haywood leaving Rooster Teeth, Port is now voiced by Anthony Sardinha. This the first episode of RWBY Chibi in which Sardinha voices the character.
