Background[]
The Jabberwalker is created
In the early days of the Ever After, the Jabberwalker was created by The Gods to replace them in maintaining the realm. While the Curious Cat would find broken hearts of Afterans, the Jabberwalker would finish what the Cat started.
It was considered brutal, but at the same time highly efficient in its given role, causing much damage and harm across the Ever After and its residents and killing many of the Afterans. It was eventually destroyed by the God of Light due to him coming to believe that it was disrupting the balance of the Ever After, but brought back by the God of Darkness as he disagreed with his brother and simply believed it was just doing its job and shouldn't be condemned, though it was destroyed soon after again. The two brothers fought over its presence and fate, though later on the Jabberwalker was allowed to live again and continue its job.
It would later on meet and attack Alyx during her time in the Ever After, who drove it away with her dagger.
Encountering Team RWBY[]
Jabberwalker vs Weiss, Blake and Yang
During its search for something or someone, it encounters Yang offscreen and begins fighting her. However, sensing the presence of Ruby, Blake, and Weiss, the Jabberwalker decides to go after them instead. When Yang reunited with her team (except Ruby) and attempt to attack Jabberwalker together, it retreated.

Jabberwalker cornered by Neo's
After retreating, it resides in the dark part of Ever After. It spotted a pink light falling from the sky and follow it, which turns out to be Neopolitan. As it was about to attack Neo, her Semblance evolved, allowing her to make multiple clones of herself. It was frightened by this and begged her to stop before shouting “no” as Neo commands her clones to attack them.
The Jabberwalker’s fate is unknown after its encounter, however Neo was implied to have made several copies of it to presumably hunt down Ruby, implying that the Jabberwalker was either killed or perhaps subjugated by her.
After the defeat of the Curious Cat by Team RWBY, Neo used several of her Jabberwalker clones to destroy the Cat once and for all. With Neo's ascension, the fate of the Jabberwalker afterwards is unknown.
