In the Shadow of Atlas

"In the Shadow of Atlas" is the score which plays during the first half of the RWBY Volume 7 episode "The Greatest Kingdom" when Ruby's Group enters the Kingdom of Atlas and the City of Mantle. It is incorporated in the RWBY: Volume 7 Soundtrack.

Trivia[]

The choir that begins to play at 0:14 in the track was created by Alex Abraham using the VOXOS Epic Choir software. Alex later confirmed the choir's intended meaning is as follows:^[1]
- VOXOS Gibberish: O mis Atasa, Vi vota, Ine aira vi frayât? NE SIA! E décri nus vitari, VOS-A!
- Intended Meaning: Oh my Atlas, We float, In the air we freeze? NO SIR! And decree victory, FOR ALL!
- The VOXOS gibberish is not any language, but rather computer generated audio, and as such they are not lyrics.
The name of the track references how Mantle was neglected by Atlas and was beneath the floating city, both literally and figuratively.
