Background

Henry was born into the Marigold family, a family of wealthy Atlas elites along with his cousin May Marigold. When May decided to support Mantle due to her passion for it however, the rest of her family refused to accept her and disowned her. She left Atlas to join the Happy Huntresses while believing that her family had Henry to replace her.

SDC Charity Event

Henry first appeared when he was talking to Weiss Schnee during the Schnee Dust Company charity party held by her father Jacques Schnee. He stated that he only came to parties like it due to the food, drinks and company in an attempt to woo Weiss. He also wondered if the charity was another one being held for Mantle when it was actually meant for the victims of the Fall of Beacon. After Weiss realized how apathetic he and the other guests really were to the Fall of Beacon, she told him to get out of else she would call security in him. While he was confused as to why she did it, he decided to do what she said and left the party.
