Gray G. Haddock is the former[1] head of animation at Rooster Teeth Productions and the former voice actor for Roman Torchwick and the White Fang Lieutenant in RWBY. Haddock was a co-director for Volumes 3-5 and script consultant for Volume 6. Other voice work he did for Rooster Teeth include voicing Locus and General Doyle in Red vs. Blue, as well as Rusty Bonjour in X-Ray and Vav.
While at Rooster Teeth, he created and directed gen:LOCK, a 3D animated mecha sci-fi show that premiered in January 26, 2019.[2] He has also worked on reality game show The Gauntlet, as well as being lead compositor on Red vs. Blue Seasons 9 and 10. His other work includes director of photography on various live-action projects, post-production supervisor and editor. Though initially Gray stepped down from leading Rooster Teeth's animation department to fill a purely creative role, he left the company sometime in the summer of 2019.[3]
Following his departure from Rooster Teeth, some of his former co-workers later revealed that he left due to abusing his position as head of the animation department and Matt Hullum being initially unaware until one of them told him.
Prior to his work with Rooster Teeth, Gray worked on various films, anime, television series and video games, both in voice acting roles and visual effects.
Following his departure from Rooster Teeth, Christopher Wehkamp has replaced him as the voice of Roman Torchwick starting from RWBY: Ice Queendom.
