The following is a list of minor locations from RWBY, arranged by Kingdom and categorically.

Sanus[]

Sanus Crossroads[]

A crossroads somewhere in Sanus was a place for an important fight. Cinder, Emerald and Mercury found out the location of the then- Fall Maiden Amber and set up an ambush for her. They ended up defeating her but during the process of taking her powers, Qrow Branwen stepped in and severed the connection before it was completed. Cinder's faction quickly retreated and Qrow was left to take Amber to Vale.

Vale[]

Old Shack[]

Burning the Candle old shack

In "Burning the Candle", Yang tells Blake how she found a clue about her mom, and when she was little. She took Ruby with her and walked for hours before finding an old abandoned house in the woods full of Beowolves. Luckily Qrow was there to save them.

As this is in walking distance of Yang's home it is likely on the island of Patch

It's implied that Raven Branwen may have lived there for a short time, as Yang apparently found an old photo of the Old Shack with her mother in it.

Vale Harbor[]

The Vale Harbor is a location seen in "The Stray". It is where ships dock when coming from outside the Kingdom. Weiss Schnee took her team to spy on any students that would enter the Vytal Tournament.

Sun Wukong illegally traveled on one ship and escaped into Vale.

Anima[]

Unnamed Port[]

V4 12 00069

The unnamed port is a settlement on the continent of Anima that appeared in the episode "No Safe Haven".

This small settlement is located on the shore of the ocean, surrounded by hills. In addition to a large dock, there is a windmill next to the harbor.

The ship driven by it's Captain that takes Yang Xiao Long to Anima in search of Ruby Rose docked at this port. Yang got off and drove into the countryside on Bumblebee, looking for the bandit tribe led by her mother Raven Branwen.

No clue has been given as to exactly where this port is located. However, based on the size and shape of Anima it is likely that this port is on the western coast. The large southern, eastern and northeastern peninsulas of Anima would make for a very long voyage for the ship if it was on the eastern coast, and it would be faster to simply drive across the continent from the west.

Mistral[]

Village West of Mistral[]

V3 0400068

In "Lessons Learned", Qrow Branwen retells a story of one of his missions to his nieces Ruby Rose and Yang Xiao Long. He came across a small village west of Mistral.

He needed information and, tired from battling Grimm along the way, he decided to start his search at the town's inn. The place was crawling with lowlifes and thugs, even a few Huntsmen that were most likely hired by shady people for shady jobs

It is not entirely sure if this is a real place or if Qrow made it up for the story.

Mistral Orphanage[]

V8 06 00003

Before Cinder Fall was adopted by Madame and worked at the Glass Unicorn, she lived in an orphanage located somewhere in Mistral.

It was located nearby some mountains, and the orphanage itself was a barn. There were at least four other children there alongside Cinder. While she lived here, the other children and orphanage workers constantly abused Cinder and got into multiple fights with her.

Ancient Past[]

Kingdoms of First Humanity[]

After her wish to return Ozma to life was refused by The Gods, Salem decided to get the help of other Humans to take them down. She traveled across the land and visited various rulers and showed them her immortality, saying she stole it from the Gods. The rulers believed her and joined her in her quest to attack the Gods. After they were all killed by the God of Darkness along with the rest of Humanity, all of their Kingdom's were destroyed in The process.

Fat King's[1] Throne Room[]

The first king Salem visited. She hurt herself with an axe to show her immortality. He was surrounded by food and drinks. He and his men were all later killed by the God of Darkness and the Kingdom was abandoned.

He resembled typical medieval European nobility.

Stern Queen's Throne Room[]

The second monarch Salem visited. Her throne was made out of pillows and was guarded by soldiers on each side. She and her men were all later killed by the God of Darkness and the Kingdom was abandoned.

Her dress had an Eastern aesthetic.

Zealous King's Throne Room[]

The third leader Salem visited. He appeared to be a warrior-leader. He was shirtless and had a tattered robe. His belt featureed a golden skull. Salem kneeled and he joined her. His soldiers wore knightly armor with horned helmets and wielded swords and axes. He and his men were all later killed by the God of Darkness and the Kingdom was abandoned.

He resembled a barbarian.

Other Locations[]

Other Kingdoms and their people were seen when the God of Darkness wiped the planet of Humanity. Following this event, all of these Kingdom's were abandoned.

Early Age[]

In his first reincarnation, Ozma awoke in a new age where we saw several locations. By the present time, these locations have been abandoned.

Unknown[]

Fort Castle[]

Fort Castle was a location in Remnant that was the site of an important battle during the Faunus Rights Revolution. It was mentioned in "Jaunedice, Pt.2" and has yet to physically appear in the series.

The Battle of Fort Castle took place in the third year of the Faunus War and was regarded by historians as the war's turning point.

The leader of the Human forces, General Lagune, sent his army to take the Faunus position at night, attempting to take them by surprise as they slept. However, he failed to account for the near-perfect night vision of his adversaries. Lagune's army was soundly defeated, and he himself was captured.

Due to this, the Faunus managed to start turning the war in their favor.

Schnee Dust Company Facility[]

In the "Volume 6 Adam Character Short" a flashback showed an attack that the White Fang staged on a Schnee Dust Company facility. The goal of this mission was to attack the Company while Sienna Khan, Adam Taurus, Ilia Amitola and several other members of the White Fang fought through a number of Atlesian Knight-130 robots and later Schnee Dust Company guards protecting the facility.

Marcus and Mercury's House[]

The house seen in "Beginning of the End" was the home of the assassin Marcus Black and his son Mercury Black.

When Cinder Fall and Emerald Sustrai arrived, they witnessed a bloody Mercury standing over his dead father while the house was on fire. As Mercury had nothing but hate for the place where his father abused him, he gladly joined Cinder and left his former home behind to burn to the ground.

Misty Mountains[]

Shown in a flashback in "The Grimm Reaper", Maria Calavera was traveling across misty mountains many years ago. While crossing a bridge she was attacked by a giant Nevermore and fought it across several mountains. She landed on a flat mountaintop and used her silver-eyed powers to turn it to stone. After that, she was ambushed by Tock and her crew. Maria dispatched the three assailants but had trouble with Tock due to her Semblance. She managed to kill her, but Tock cut out her eyes.

Dimensions[]

Afterlife[]

The Afterlife is where all the inhabitants of Remnant go when they die and could possibly be where the higher deities of the universe currently reside after leaving the world eons ago.

The Afterlife was confirmed to exist in "The Lost Fable" though no details were given about it.

The Void[]

V6 03 00049

The Void is a place shown in "The Lost Fable". It is seen as an endless white plane and resides "between realms" as stated by the God of Light. Following his departure from Remnant, he brought Ozma here where he gave him his mission on uniting Humanity.

In "The Final Word", Penny Polendina ends up meeting Winter Schnee in what looks like the Void in order to both inform her that she is now the new Winter Maiden and to reassure her that she'll always be a part of her. It is unknown if this is the same Void seen in "The Lost Fable" or simply something like a mindscape.

It is possible that the Void is supposed to be a representation of limbo or purgatory, places said to be located somewhere between the afterlife and the physical world.
