Dormir is a small village in the former Kingdom of Atlas, located on the southern coast of the largest lake on Solitas. Known for its ice fishing, the village is a key supplier of seafood on Remnant, supporting whole towns such as the nearby Essen.
It is unknown if the village survived the destruction of the Kingdom in "The Final Word".
Description[]
Dormir is a small ice fishing village with houses made of wood. Despite being small, it is an important location due to providing seafood in Remnant including supplying villages on Solitas like Essen with food to survive.
History[]
After Hanlon Fifestone is arrested and activates the orbs that can attract the Grimm, Dormir is attacked by Grimm and almost forced to evacuate. When Team RWBY reach Dormir, they meet Zure Ayu again as well as her sister Cye, who gives them the combustion Dust Zure mined earlier and upgrades Yang Xiao Long's Semblance Burn in the process, allowing her to destroy metal blocks.
After Yang gets this ability, Team RWBY discover one of the four orbs underneath the village after destroying the metal block in the tunnels blocking it and destroy it.
Once Penny Polendina unlocks the "Crystal Nexus" gate underneath Dormir, Team RWBY meet up with Ivy Thickety who realized that Bram Thornmane had lied to her and her team. Because of this, she hands over her Nexus key needed to gain access to Fort Arrowfell to them.
