DC/RWBY is a seven-issue comic series being published by DC Comics. The first issue was released in print and digital on February 28th, 2023 while the final issue was released on August 22nd, 2023. The miniseries was written by Marguerite Bennett with artists Aneke and Mirka Andolfo[1]. The trade graphic novel of the series was released on September 5th, 2023.[2]

Summary[]

The world of Remnant comes crashing into the DCU! Grimm are running amok around Gotham, and Batman's on the hunt to find whoever brought these mysterious monsters to his city. But as the trail goes cold, the Dark Knight finds himself face-to-face with none other than Team RWBY! What other effects are taking hold around our world with Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang here, and what does it mean for the future of the DCU?!   • This is the third RWBY comic series after DC's RWBY and RWBY x Justice League.
  • This is the second crossover between RWBY and the DC Universe.
  • Most of comics appeared in a RWBY VTubing episode called Ruby Learns About Video Production.
  • This is the last RWBY comic licensed by Rooster Teeth Productions before its shutdown in March 6th, 2024 Due to [[Viz]] acquiring the rights to RWBY on July 6th, it is unknown if DC still retains the comic book rights to the franchise.
  • Differences from RWBY x Justice League:
    • Both Team RWBY and the Grimm go to the DC universe, instead of the Justice League being in Remnant.
    • The presence of Remnant inhabitants warps the DC universe so everything needs Dust to work.
    • Lex Luthor made contact with Salem and caused this issue.
