In fact, Blake and Adam were never meant to be together. How do you expect a girl who is the daughter of the most influential and rich Faunus family to understand or relate to a slave who was tortured and abused by the Schee Dust Company all his life? How did they expect someone like Blake to really understand Adam or even get together with him? He should have been nothing more than a mentor who trained Blake but has a different ideology and method of achieving things. Since his way was what worked, while Ghira had to step down because his peaceful approach wasn't working. It was the efforts of Sienna and Adam that got people to take the Faunus seriously and open up opportunities for them to negotiate on equal terms.
They don't even go into detail on that or what made Adam and Blake end up together in the first place. It's just lazy writing.
I also really hate team RWBY as it is now. Their self-centered sense of justice is limited and bigoted. It really only sees what has been done unto them and not what has been done unto others. Like Adam could have been a really good morally gray character or an anti-hero who only fights for the Faunus but why the fuck did he become so obsessed with Blake?! Actually why the fuck does everyone seem obsessed with Blake?! First, there's Adam, then there's Sun, followed by Ilia who is basically supposed to be what Adam is, and then there's Yang and that toxic as fuck Bumblebee ship! You know what it would actually make more sense for Adam and Ilia to be together since they have soooo much in common. It just doesn't make sense for that sudden change in attitude from Adam after Volume 3 since he was more focused on the White Fang and fighting for the Faunus than Blake. Why the hell would he suddenly let Blake make him go unstable after so long when he has something far more important to do?
It's just cringey for me to watch them these days. I'll be on the villain's side from now on man. They need to bring back Adam. We all know the truth; they fucking killed him off for the toxic Bumblebee fanbase.
Well, it's not like our opinions would matter to Rooster Teeth compared to the toxic Bumblebee fanbase that they're enslaved to.
