Well, today's opening theme is certainly more funny now...
Welcome back to Where from Here, Volume 4 edition. Let's recap.
- Blake is on a boat, alone, face numb from overexpression, and is constantly looking over her shoulder in case kids get any smart ideas. They're everywhere. The captain notices, and knows she has a story to tell and that she needs someone along for the journey.
- Yang is still in Patch, watching the news (and naturally getting depressed. The election in particular hits her hard), where her dad Burn- I mean Wash- I mean Taiyang has come home with a special gift: the robot arm that we all thought she'd get. However, not only did it not require any special favors, not only did it come 3 episodes into Volume 4... but Yang doesn't want it. Afterward, doing menial work around the house with one arm, she drops a water glass and has a panic attack of Adam's mask as Burn-Taiyang watches.
- Blake is still on a boat when she notices a cloaked figure watching her. At that moment however, a Water-Grimm attacks. The ship readies for battlestations, but they haven't prepared for a Unagi-Grimm ever since the quartermaster sold the clam cannon to settle the gambling debt.
- Blake fights it as best she can, but just as it prepares to blast the boat to oblivion, the mysterious hooded man watching from a distance unveils his cloak to reveal Sun Go-Wukong, who misdirects the attack.
- The battle rages on, with Blake destroying the Grimm's wings, and allowing the crew to make a killing blow. As a reward for helping defeat the largest water-Grimm the ship had seen and saving her life, Blake slaps him across the face and leaves him to tell the story to everyone on the ship for an hour until she calms down.
- Sun is under the mistaken impression that Blake is singlehandedly hunting down the Fang, and had been following her to help her do so. Blake dispells that theory (to the dismay of those who subscribed to it), and reveals she's just going home to find herself. Sun joins her anyway, knowing the Fang will follow her, and wants to see Menagarie for himself.
- Cinder and Salem are having vocal lessons to help with Cinder's speech impediment, with Salem drawing something out of Cinder. Salem then summo- what the hell is that!? Uhh, I mean, summons a Metroid (seriously, what the actual fuck is that thing?) to sit by and watch. Cinder confirms, yes, Ozpin is dead, and Salem tells the Metroid to double their efforts.
- Salem is after a relic under Beacon tower, but is still wondering what the next move is...from Ozpin?
Bonus round: Alternate names for the thread included: I"M ON A BOAT, Journey to the South-East, An Arm and a Leg, and So which one of you is Goku?
