- For the Remnant member of Justice League, see Bruce Wayne.
Bruce Wayne, also known as Batman, is a character who first appeared in Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes and Huntsmen, Part One. He is based on his DC Comics counterpart Batman.
Appearance[]
As a teenager, Batman’s appearance appears to be the same as his Remnant counterpart except his scar is on his right eyebrow and his Faunus trait is batwings.
As an adult, his design is more in tone from his original counterpart inspired from the Batman media with a little bit of whiteness on the eyes.
When he disguised himself as one of the noble guests, he wore black suit with a gray collar shirt with a navy tie and trench coat.
Personality[]
Like his main counterpart, he is an intelligent and wise hero, except he appears to show more emotion instead of being stoic. He felt being helpless without any powers until he was turned into a Faunus in the simulation of Remnant, where he was considering to stay in the real Remnant with Weiss, until Diana tries to talk some sense into him.
Powers and Abilities[]
Hand to Hand Combat: He retain his skills from before as he manages to beat three security guards at Schnee Manor and fight off Grimm bare-handed.
Flight: Now as a bat Faunus, Bruce is able to use the wings to fly, taking part in aerial combat against Grimm, and can even create concussive gusts of wind to blow them back.
Semblance[]
After being transported to Remnant, Bruce adopts a Semblance that allows him to scan his surroundings with something akin to x-ray or infrared vision, revealing concealed or hidden objects such as the concealed door to the lab within the Schnee Manor, to see the Grimm's newfound ability to absorb the Dust being used by Weiss, and to confirm Flash's morse code whilst under the control of Kilg%re.
Weaknesses[]
As he was recently turned into a Faunus, he had difficulty in controlling his flight. However, he managed to adjust and got used to his new found ability whilst he was kept in prison.
History[]
Origins[]
Bruce Wayne was born in Gotham City, New Jersey, the only child to Dr. Thomas and Martha Wayne, and the latest descendant in the city's generationally prominent and wealthy Wayne family. One night, after seeing a rousing adventure film, the Wayne family exited the theater through an alleyway and was confronted by a street mugger. When Thomas tried to stop the mugger from stealing his wife's pearl necklace, he shot both Thomas and his wife right in front of 8-year-old Bruce's eyes. Running away in fear of what he had done, the mugger was never brought to justice.
On that very night, on the street stained with his parents' blood, young Bruce made a vow to rid Gotham of the evil that had taken his parents' lives. He swore that what happened to him would never happen to anyone else again. Using his unnaturally strong will and his family's extensive wealth, he spent the next 10-12 years traveling the world, seeking out the best minds in martial arts, criminology, escapology, disguise, and the craft of detecting. He toned his body and mind to the peak of human physical and mental perfection. Upon his return to Gotham, after an unsuccessful first night as a crime fighter, he sat in his father's study as a bat burst through the window.
From his teachings, he remembered that criminals are superstitious and cowardly. Adopting the frightening image of the creature that had ominously come to him, he would strike terror into the hearts of those who committed evil in his domain. It was this symbol that brought about the birth of the Batman.
From there, he made a name for himself as a symbol of vengeance and righteousness in Gotham. From muggers to crime lords, no-one was safe from the Batman. Soon enough, the advent of super-criminals would emerge to rival him at every turn. The Joker, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Bane and several others would prove substantial enemies, with some even besting him at times, but Batman has always managed to pull through in the end.
Batman would also construct a massive web of allies . In the Gotham City Police Department, there is James Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Renee Montoya and others. In his personal group of heroes patrolling Gotham, there exists his pupils like Robin, Nightwing, and Red Hood, as well as people from outside his jurisdiction like Batgirl. And then last but not least, there are the numerous members of the Justice League, the worldwide super-team of which Batman has found and guided for several years.
Arrival on Remnant[]
He was transported to Atlas, where he somehow managed to sneak into Schnee Manor, knocking a guest unconscious and using their clothes, hiding his suit in a corner where it was found by Weiss Schnee. He attempted to maintain a cover as a guest but stumbled as a result of not knowing basic terminology in Remnant. Upon realizing that she was suffering from similar memory issues that he was, Bruce attempted to get her help, until it was discovered that he had stolen a key to the science lab in his effort to find more information, prompting Weiss to attack him. He tries to explain to her that he’s not from anywhere on Remnant and just wants to return to where he came from. During the struggle, he realizes his newfound Faunus wings, causing him to stumble and is eventually incapacitated and taken to prison, but tries to plea with Weiss to see the truth.
A Cold Alliance[]
While in prison, he trains both his wings and his Semblance, before being freed by Weiss, who believed his claims, returning his suit to him, and the two work to find the truth together.
The Truth[]
When Flash is revealed to be possessed by Kilg%re, Batman uses his knowledge of morse code to decipher what Flash is saying via finger ticks, then eventually frees his comrade from Kilg%re's control with help from his teammates and Ruby's Group.

Trivia[]
- Batman, along with, Superman, are the only Justice League members who retain the appearance of their Remnant counterpart, except with some minor changes.
- Batman's Semblance bears a striking resemblance to "Detective Vision," an integral gameplay mechanic in the Arkham video game series in order to find hidden objects or complete missions and puzzles in the game.
- Batman is the only DC Character in Remnant to have their Aura shattered.
- Batman's feelings on "powers" (using the term to group abilities from faunus traits, semblances, and basic abilities that come with aura) are a departure from most versions feelings on the subject. Most reject the idea that they need powers quite strongly. Many define his will and skills as a power in and of themselves (this list sometimes includes his obscene wealth). Some even go so far as to strongly distrust powers. This is likely due to his decreased age.
