"Awake" is the song that plays during the fight between a young Cinder Fall and Rhodes in "Midnight" and is incorporated into Ok Goodnight's "Under the Veil" EP and the RWBY: Volume 8 Soundtrack.

This is the first song to be featured in RWBY that was not written and composed with the show in mind.
- This is also the first song composed by Casey Lee Williams's band "Ok Goodnight" to be featured in the series and included in the official soundtrack.
This song is in the key of C# minor.
The line "take my hand and take my life" is heard in the show at the same moment in which Cinder commits the latter act against Rhodes.
