For the original version of this character, see Arthur Watts.
Not even death can hold me back. I knew Atlas might go pear-shaped, so just in case, I made arrangements to store my consciousness with Kilg%re.
—Arthur Watts' digital copy

Overview History Relationships Image Gallery

A digital copy of Arthur Watts which was made by the original before his death at the end of Volume 8. He serves as the main antagonist of the Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes and Huntsmen duology, with his ultimate goal being to remake the DC world in his own image. His plans are later thwarted, however, by the Justice League and Team RWBY, and he is imprisoned in a holo-trap alongside Kilg%re.

He was briefly hinted in the first part of the duology before making his official appearance in the second part. He is also the overarching antagonist of the first film.

Appearance[]

Arthur Watts' digital copy initially had no body, but he was later able to create one by using Star Labs technology. Giving himself an armored grey body with yellow highlights with a strong build. Having two additional arms behind his back and is equipped with two revolver guns. His face remains the same though he has given himself a beard.

Personality[]

This version of Arthur Watts is the same as his original self in virtually every way, being able to remember the demise of his original self. This experience appeared to have changed Watts and given him a new resolve. No longer would he obey and be manipulated by anyone and would instead take his own stance with his own subordinates. He appeared to have the same lust for power his original self had, only much greater than before, seeking to remake Earth in his own image. He also showed little to no respect for the inhabitants of either world, manipulating Kilg%re and not even siding with or enlisting the help of other DC supervillains.

Watts was cautious in his invasion on Earth, and strategically took out Batman to ensure the League didn't realize his plans. He also listened to Kilg%re's suggestions in creating Grimm that could counter the heroes and was careful in his approach despite Kilg%re's insistence they could win by being more bold. However, Watts was also more confident than his original, having shown himself to the Justice League and Team RWBY instead of staying in the background, self-assured he could win with his new abilities. Coming to the belief that Salem lacked vision as he did and cut off any ties he had towards her including Remnant. Because of this, he was very arrogant as he continued to believe he was the smartest man around and was tricked into revealing that he had fooled and manipulated Kilg%re, enraging the A.I.

Powers and Abilities[]

Having all of his original memories and skills, the digital copy is ultimately as dangerous as his original self. Due to his original body being destroyed, however, Watts had to recreate a new body for himself, using the technology of Star Labs with aid from Kilg%re. Working alongside Kilg%re, Watts became a very powerful threat on Earth and was considered highly dangerous by both the Justice League and Team RWBY. He invaded the Earth with many Grimm and created a plan that nearly defeated the Justice League and Team RWBY through the use of his new powers that he had given himself. He had manipulated Kilg%re as well in assisting him in order to remake Earth.

Weapons[]

Watts uses two copies of his original revolver, each containing twenty shots each.

Programming & Hacking[]

Like the original, Watts possessed the same skills he had back on Remnant. Where, during his time on Earth, Watts had managed to discover a way to use the very same method that kept him alive by transferring his conscious onto his Artificial Grimm to allow them to 'revive'. Also mentioning that compared to the first virtual world, the very same that the original Watts and Kilg%re had created on Remnant to trap the Justice League and Team RWBY, has been improved. Keeping the virtual Grimm in Cyborg's holo-trap more stable, including the environment with the help of Kilg%re. He was also the first of the two villains to realize they were in a holo-trap created by Cyborg.

Prosthetics[]

Watts' copy was capable of remaking an entirely new body, as he did for himself after losing his original body at the end of Volume 8 of the main series. Gaining Kilg%re's aid, Watts used the technology of Star Labs to remake himself a stronger body with different abilities, including the power to make artificial Grimm.

He was also able to use the original's past experience in designing a poisonous stinger for a Death Stalker as part of his new Artificial Grimm.

Artificial Grimm Creation[]

During Part Two, after transporting himself to Earth after his death, Watts discovered a way to create artificial Grimm which were near-identical to the one's on Remnant. Watts states the Grimm were more easily programmable on Earth and managed to allow Kilg%re to possess them. Like Salem, he is capable of controlling the Grimm and even modifying them to make them more dangerous, by strategizing against the heroes and adapting against them.

Despite this, they were hackable as shown by Cyborg, and upon Watts and Kilg%re's imprisonment in a holo-trap, the Grimm army he created vanished due to lacking the combined energies the two produced to keep them around.

Weaknesses[]

Like the original, he was arrogant and overconfident, if not more so, as during his fight with Team RWBY, he was outsmarted when they tricked him into revealing that he deceived Kilg%re, causing the A.I. to possess him in revenge. He also lacked much physical combat ability, mostly relying on his summoned Grimm.
