"The Greatest Kingdom"（世界一の王国）はRWBYの7期1話目（累計第80話目）のエピソードである。Rooster Teeth有料会員には2019年11月2日、一般には同年11月9日に公開される（いずれも現地時刻）。
あらすじ[]
エアシップでアトラスに入国したルビー・ローズ達を待っていたのは戦時中のように配備されたアトラス艦隊であった。アトラス側からはドックに進入するよう指示が入るが、一行はその異様な光景にとまどう。ジョーン・アークは着陸すれば何か分かるはずだと提案するが、ワイス・シュニーは、そのような状況の中盗んだ機体で着陸すればどうなるか分からないとしてそれを否定する。一行は彼女の提案に従って艦隊から距離を取りつつ、ワイスが姉のウィンター・シュニーに連絡することになった。
マントル市内に入ったルビー達が見たものは、ジェームズ・アイアンウッドの放送が響き、厳戒態勢の兵士達が行き来する街の様子であった。ワイスは姉に連絡さえ出来れば事態を打開できると考えていたが、街中に映る映像で無機質な言葉を述べるウィンターを見てクロウはその考えを否定する。そして一行は船を置いてマリーア・カラヴェラの知り合いの家まで行くことを決めた。道中、マリーアは大戦に負けたマントルの人々の希望としてアトラスが生まれた過去を話す。ルビー達はその煌びやかなアトラスの裏でマントルの人達が暗い日々を送っている事実を肌で感じるのであった。
マリーアが案内した場所はピエトロという名の老人が営む診療所であった。彼は優秀な科学者で普段はアトラス市でアイアンウッドと共にアトラスの発展に貢献しているという。彼は、最近何者かがアトラスのセキュリティを破壊したため厳戒態勢が敷かれ、軍の締め付けが酷くなっていることや、議会もアイアンウッドの言いなりであることを説明する。会話の中でピエトロは目の前に居るのがチームRWBYであることに気付く。驚くルビー達に、彼は自分の娘からルビー達のことをとてもよく聞いていると話した。
そのとき街で警報が鳴り響く。外に出たルビー達は、グリムの群れが街をうろつきアトラシアン・ナイト-200を蹴散らしているところを目撃する。街の警備が不十分であることを認識した彼女達は自分達の手でグリムを倒すことを決め、順調にグリムを倒していく。そんな中、突如上空から緑の閃光が走り次々にグリムを貫いていく。驚くルビー達の前に現れたのはかつてヴァイタル・フェスティバルの最中に破壊されたはずのペニー・ポレンディーナであった。親友との予想外の再会に喜びつつも驚きを隠せないルビーに、ペニーの制作者であり父のピエトロが説明する。彼等アトラスの科学者はアミティ・コロシアムからペニーのコアを回収して彼女を復活させ、さらにグレードアップさせたという。ペニーは久々に会った親友と話したい事がいくつもある様子であったが、再度警報が鳴り響くのを聞くとそれを諦め、またどこかへ飛んでいった。
一仕事終えたルビー達はピエトロから話の続きを聞くため帰路につこうとするが、その直後、背後から突然飛んできた拘束具によってマリーアとピエトロを除く全員が捕まってしまう。身動きが取れなくなった彼女達の前に、揃いの制服を着た5人が現れルビー達の武器を取り上げていく。彼等はエースと呼ばれる部隊であり、無許可の機体に乗って無許可に武器を振るったルビー達を逮捕しにきたという。彼等はルビー達の言い分も聞かず、そのまま彼女達をアトラス行きの輸送機に詰め込んでしまった。

- 本エピソードの最初の12分はNYCC 2019にて先行公開された[1]。
- エピソードの一部が7月5日のRTX 2019にて公開され、10月31日には一般に公開された[2]。
- Volume 6のコメンタリーのMiles Lunaの説明によると、本エピソードの一部は元々Volume 6の最終エピソードとして作られており、そのため当初Volume 6は14話まで予定されていた。その後、"Our Way"の方がVolumeの最後にふさわしいとされたため本エピソードはVolume 7に移された。
- 具体的には本エピソードでペニーが登場して挨拶の言葉を投げかけるシーンでVolume 6が終わる予定であった[3]。
- ドランク・マンとその相方の酔っぱらいは、アニメーターのJoel MannとDustin Matthewsをもとに作られたキャラクターであり、本人たちが声を当てている[4]。
