RWBY: World of RemnantはRWBYの舞台であるレムナントの地域、生物、物事などについて語るシリーズである。
概要[]
World of Remnantの各エピソードは長さがまちまちだがRWBY本編の各エピソードの平均よりは短く、2～4分であることが多い。
各エピソードはRWBYの世界からある特定のテーマを取り上げ、物語調の解説とイラストで情報を提供している。 本編が3Dであるのに対し、このイラストは特徴的な2Dとなっている。
語り手はVolume 2ではセイラム（当時は謎のナレーターという扱い）、Volume 3ではオズピン、Volume 4ではクロウ・ブランウェンである。[1] また、本編の一部のキャラクターはシルエットで登場している。
公開[]
World of Remnantは基本的に本編のエピソードと並行して公開されており、World of Remnantの公開週は本編はお休みというスタイルになっている。 最初のシリーズはRWBYのVolume 2と並行して公開されており、公開週はそれぞれ、"Painting the Town..."、"Dance Dance Infiltration"、"Mountain Glenn"の次の週である。 Volume 2では4つのエピソードを含んでおり、最後の1つはVolume 2のDVD/BD限定公開となっていたが[2]、後にYouTubeにて公開された。
5つ目のエピソードはVolume 3公開の約2週間前に公開され、以降は基本的に本編の3エピソード公開後にWorld of Remnantエピソード公開というスケジュールになっている。
2019年8月現在、Volume 2の"Dust"についてはRooster Teeth公式サイトのページがリンク切れとなっており視聴出来ない。（YouTubeでは視聴可能）
