  • "The Emerald Forest"でネヴァーモアの羽根が映ってはいるが、ワイスとルビーがネヴァーモアに乗った経緯や方法については一切説明されていない。
  • ジョーンとぶつかったルビーが木に頭をぶつけたときに頭の上に2Dスプライトの小さなベオウルフが回っていた。
  • 0:57辺りと1:19辺りでブレイクのリボンが揺れており、彼女がファウナスでありリボンの下に耳があることを示すヒントになっている。
  • ワイスに助けられたあと、ルビーは"normal knees"と呟いている。これは"Ruby Rose"で彼女が言った言葉を受けたものである。
  • デス・ストーカーを倒したあと、ジョーンのチームは"JNPR"の順番と同じように左からジョーン、ノーラ、ピュラ、レンの順に並んでいる。
  • ピュラの3点着地ポーズはRooster Teeth Productionsの別シリーズRed vs. Blueのキャラクターで、ピュラと同じJen Brownが声を担当している"Agent Carolina"がとったものと同じポーズである。
  • 本エピソードはシアトルのPAX Prime '13で先行公開された。
  • Miles LunaとKerry Shawcrossによると、本エピソードのバトルは何度か書き直された[1]。その中の一つには、ネヴァーモアが巨大な竜巻を発生させ生徒達とデス・ストーカーを森の中に飛ばすというシーンがあった。その後、デス・ストーカーのハサミに向かって落ちていくピュラを見たジョーンが自らの盾をパラシュートのように使って割り込むという流れになっていた。また別のバージョンとして巨大なボーバタスクが登場するものもあった。
  • Monty Oumは"Nora! Please... don't ever do that again."というセリフを喋るときに偶然アイルランド訛りになってしまった[1]。
  • RWBY Chibiの"Boy Band"の一幕では、ヤンがスクロールで本エピソードのネヴァーモアとのバトルのシーンを見ている。
