Funny how fans sing the praises of Miles Luna's writing on RvB, but are shitting about his writing on RWBY.

They aren't "shitting" on his writing at all. Miles has proven he is a competent writer as seen and RvB. The complaints, as long as you weed out the troll and "Tis show sux" comments, are legitimate criticisms of the show. Some of the most vocal people behind these complaints are long time fans of Roosterteeth and do like the show, all they want is to point out the flaws in the show so they can be addressed. There is nothing wrong with constructive criticism. We are fortunate enough that Roosterteeth is a company that listens to their fan-base, if this show were to be aired on TV, and owned by a company like Cartoon Network, we'd have no say.

Well With RvB we have seen these characters alot, we already know everyone and how they react so it's easier to write an arc based on that. And RvB started with just a comedy, there was no one forcing plot or character developments it's just a couple of guys wanting to make us laugh. Rwby is different, it JUST started but people want action and development NAO. I really hope they dont rush the story because the fans are so impatient.

You obviously haven't read my post entirely.
I did read your post, actually, but I chose not to address most of your points because they seemed pretty subjective to me... In hindsight, I probably should have addressed more then I did, but oh well.
I really don't have much to say about the characters connection to the plot in RWBY other then that, if Black and White and the Volume 2 Trailer are anything to go by, Team RWBY is going to get quite involved in the Main Plot now that it's starting.
Yes. Starting. RWBY vol.1 is largely plotless.
Which really just serves to highlight why the two of us can't see eye-to-eye; because we have different opinions on what is the foundation of a character: in your opinion it's their role in the story; in my opinion it's their characterization.
It's only natural that our differing tastes would mean we look to different places to find enjoyment in a work.
That's really all I have to say, so I'm going to stop wasting your time.
time in volume 1 was poorly managed. all of the JNPR stuff could have been pushed to volume 2. im cool with them being a "second A-Team", but tell us about the real A-Team first. i can tell you everything i know about Yang right now.
1. She is protective of her sister and her hair. 2. She owns a motorcycle.
i dont know squat about he motivations, or why shes at beacon. i dont mind them keeping tidbits(like her last name) under wraps for a while to keep people interested, but for christs sake, shes part of the title, we should know more by now. its the same with Weiss.
the animation is more like something from a college project then a professional studio. did they not have a checklist of all the stuff they needed to remove? did nobody at the studio watch it before they uploaded it?
dont get me wrong, i like the show, and am as excited as anyone for the volume 2 premiere. but if they want to immerse us in this world to tell these stories, theyre doing a poor job. (and all the rooster teeth references arent helping)
Ruby explained why she is at beacon, which can lead to why yang is at beacon. Volume one was introducing the show. Volume two is getting into the storyline. It would be bad if they said Jaune used different transcripts right at the end.
To be honest Jaune's Arc couldn't have been pushed back. Why because its central character was getting bullied. And if it had it would seem like bullying wasn't an major issue concering students.

That's all you had to say really
Wow, way to be.
Many people, myself included, had an idea after the Black Trailer. But few, if any, had it all laid out. Far more would never have noticed prior to the bow twitch if not for the speculation, and I'm willing to bet if not for forums and such, some may have even been surprised when she took off the bow. Scratch that, some were, especially people who watched them after they were out and didn't have the many weeks between to think about things.
As for the RvB thing... what foreshadowing? I've watched every episode many times, and never picked up on any. Unless it was in the sponsor stuff, there was no noteworthy forshadowing.
To be fair towards most episodes had only a week of production until release. Honestlty the show fine. The show needs only longer episodes and more polish.
FWIW, for Yang, I think being a Huntress is a natural vocation. Look at how well she handled Junior in the Yellow Trailer: She quickly took charge of the situation and got the information she was after. This is the work of a Signal graduate without any advanced training at all!
On the other hand, Ruby...? Well, to her, being a Huntress is probably a sense of duty to her late mother. She's clearly got a lot of talent as a fighter but, by her own admission, it was hardly a natural aptitude and it needed Qrow's training to give her any ability at all. She isn't a born Huntress and will need every bit of Weiss's encouragement to apply herself to get the knowledge and skill she needs to survive.
